The Bugatti is one of the classiest automobiles ever made, and Bugatti's Ristorante ranks as one of the best restaurants in Kansas City. Created to honor the legacy of excellence established by the Bugatti family a century ago, Bugatti's puts a fresh spin on traditional Italian cuisine with an inspired menu of pastas, flatbreads, fish, veal and steaks.
Start with an appetizer of lobster ravioli or crab cake Bellini, and follow it up with a comforting bowl of Tortellini en Brodo, a fresh salad, or one of Bugatti's authentic flatbreads.
For the main event, consider a delicious Orecchiette del Mar, featuring distinctive “little ear” pasta, adorned with shrimp, clams and crab, and tossed in a white wine herb garlic butter sauce. Other fine dishes include a classic Fettuccine Alfredo, a spicy Penne All' Amatriciana or Bugatti's signature Wood-Fired Seafood Bake, which combines a plethora of shellfish with orzo pasta in a heavenly saffron scented broth. For meat and seafood lovers, there is a variety of beef, pork, lamb, veal, and fresh seafood dishes on offer. Of special note are a delicate Veal Marsala and a unique Lamb "Three Ways," which boasts a grilled T-bone, chop and braised cut trio served along with specially paired sides.
The wine list includes a fine selection of Italian reds, notably Brunellos, Barolos and Super Tuscans, as well as a select list of international white and sparkling wines. If you're feeling adventurous why not try a specially designed wine flight or perhaps a glass of grappa?
The Zagat Survey gave Bugatti's a "Don't Miss" rating and it was also named "Best Italian" restaurant in the riverboat category by Casino Player magazine readers. This is a great place to celebrate an anniversary, a birthday or just life itself.
